Meet the Dream Team who works behind the scenes
Hari Chapagain and Rabin Adhikari are the mentors behind NOSH, the only Indian and Nepalese restaurant in Alverca. Originally from Nepal, there is a world of affinities between the two brothers. The creative ability to communicate with others, the passion for food and entrepreneurship, were the driving force to create this project.
Both have a lot of experience in the food business. While Rabin is responsible for introducing in Lisbon, the most traditional recipes from India and Nepal – as if we were traveling in these countries – at his restaurant Diyalo, Chef Hari used his innate creativity in the kitchen to reveal the best of fusion cuisine with a sophisticated interpretation and presentation, in its renowned restaurant Oven. These two Nepalis dreamed to have a restaurant together, some day. What we present at NOSH is the fusion of these two ways of being at the table – one more traditional, another more contemporary.
The Art of Tandoor
Our grills are cooked in the traditional Indian oven, better known as tandoor, and are part of the success of our dishes. Ingredients as varied as meat or seafood are cooked over low heat, until they have the right texture… tender and juicy.

NOSH has a varied menu with a thoughtful selection of classic dishes from India and Nepal. Having been created by chef Hari Chapagain, you will naturally be able to experience several signature dishes. The options are vast, including starters, meat, seafood, fish, and vegetarian dishes. With so much diversity, there will be many reasons to visit and return to NOSH.
